Will Day - Free Seminars on April 27th at 2pm & 7pm
How do you ensure your last wishes are achievable? Why do you need an updated Will? How can you support the community by making a charitable gift in your Will? These are just a few questions that will be answered during Will Day.
Under the umbrella of EndowManitoba, the three North Central Manitoba Foundations joined together to promote Will Day on Wednesday, April 27 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. The two free seminars are being held in the Crocus Room at the Herman Prior Centre.
The North Norfolk and MacGregor Foundation, Big Grass Community Foundation (Gladstone) and the Community Foundation of Portage and District are hosting the event in partnership with the Central Bar Association.The participating firms, Stevenson & Desrochers Law Corporation and Freedom 55 Financial, generously donate their time to give the presentations.
The free estate planning seminars are led by professionals working in Wills and estate-planning and include information on:
- Why you need a valid, updated Will, an enduring Power of Attorney and a Health Care Directive;
- How to ensure your last wishes are achievable; and
- How to support the community with a charitable gift in your Will.
The program is a public service and seminars are for information purposes only.
