Kids in Philanthopy
The Community Foundation of Portage and District Inc (CFPDI) is excited to announce a new Youth in Philanthropy program called "Kids in Philanthropy". This program has been designed for youth in Portage la Prairie and District schools with grades 5 to 8 students in mind.
The Kids in Philanthropy (KiP) program presents a unique opportunity for educators and students to learn about community and volunteerism and to become involved in a very positive way. To our knowledge the KiP program is the only one of its kind in Canada.
CFPDI is committed to supporting the KiP program with an annual funding of $2500 which will be dispersed in $500 allotments to five approved projects. These projects will be facilitated by an online process from initial application to final review.
