The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs mission, “to improve and elevate the character of mankind,” will continue to be met by this fund.  The members created the Fund in January 2009 to establish a legacy that will give back to the community now and in the future.

The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs are a friendly fraternity and a non-denominational Order for men and women. They are caring and make a difference by reaching out to our communities to full current and future needs.

The Community Foundation of Portage and District provides financial support to charitable causes and organizations within Portage and district. Thanks to donors from all walks of life, the foundation improves lives, strengthen families and build community today, tomorrow and forever.  Gifts such as that of the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs are pooled and endowed (permanently invested), and the income supports a variety of local projects. The original gifts are never spent, ensuring a lasting legacy for the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs and ongoing resources for the community.
