Krista Tully

Krista TullyThe Tully Families created a bursary fund in memory of Krista Tully, who passed away suddenly on October 18, 2002 at the age of 38. The objective of the bursary is to assist one female student from Arthur Meighen High School who loves to learn and intends to pursue a post secondary education in technology or science. The first Krista Tully Memorial Bursary was awarded in June 2003.

Krista was raised on the family farm in Curtis, attended Oakville School and graduated from Arthur Meighen High School in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. She had a thirst for learning and continued her education receiving her Agriculture Diploma, Legal Secretary and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. At the time of her death, she was employed by the Department of Justice Canada in Winnipeg.

Krista was a very social person and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She also took pleasure in gardening, cooking, and knitting.
