Our 20th Anniversary Celebration was held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the William Glesby Centre. It was a resounding success! The sold out crowd enjoyed a delicious prime rib dinner by Bill’s Sticky Fingers; an engaging and informative speech by Rick Frost, CEO of the Winnipeg Foundation; a presentation of $100,000 Impact Grant to the Portage School Division for paving and improvements to the Yellowquill track; and two large donations: $500,000 from the estate of Gwen and Orville Hogue, and $600,000 from the estate of Doreen Buchanan.
